Ward Boundaries

Following the consultation which ended in August this year, the Local Government Boundary Commission (LGBC) has produced a new set of proposals for Western Enfield which show considerable changes to the earlier proposals. As a result the LGBC have started a new consultation which ends on 25th November 2019.

As far as Bush Hill Park is concerned, the original plan to divvy-up the current ward into three smaller wards, each with 2 councillors, has been replaced with a proposal to keep a single ward, with a somewhat different boundary to the present one, and to retain three councillors. However, the name of the new ward would be Bush Hill Park South. The main boundary changes are that the Enfield Town railway line would be the northern boundary and the New River would become the western boundary.

The current Southbury Ward, to the north of Bush Hill Park, is renamed Bush Hill Park North under the new proposals.

You can see the proposed ward boundaries for yourself on the LGBC web-site.
